Orana Park

 Hi Guys

On Tuesday the 16th of Augest all the year 7s and 8s went to Orana Park. How we all arrived there was by going in seperate cars. Ofa, Manuk and i went with Ms Lambie and we talked the whole way there. When everyone arrived, we all walked to the Orana Park entry. At the start we had morning tea first then we split  into 2 groups, both groups had a volunteers. Our volunteers was taking us to one spot then she would explain about the animal then we could have a look at the animal. One of the animals we saw was a gorilla, things you were Not Allowed to do were acting like a gorilla like banging on your chest because banging on your chest means you wanna challenge them in a fight. As we walked in the building to the gorilla he was eating mangos and stearing at us. After tht we saw monkeys, there were only two of them, a girl and a boy. They were climbing the ropes, it was so cool. After that we saw otters, they were so funny because when they saw us they came to us then went back to their rock, then all 5 jumped in the water, the funny thing is that if they were being nosey they would stand up straight and look over the window. We saw pigs, rabbits, and lambs. When i went to go look at the pigs, it smelt bad so then i went to the rabbits, the rabbits were cute then i went to the lamb. the lamb was scary because he just stood there looking at us so i didn't go near it. We saw giraffes, the sad thing is that not everyone got to feed them because they didn't go to everyone because they were eating of the wood that had food on it. We saw a cheetahs there as well, i wanted it to run but it didn't, it was just walking around. One of my favourite ones was the lions. When it lied down it yawned and it was funny because it was a long yawn. The other one we saw was tigers. They just sat still in one spot most of the time, After that we saw frogs. that one was cool there were so many, they were colourful there were black, green, orange and white ones. Then we went to the kiwis. We only saw 1, it was so dark but we saw it walking back and forward. The wild dogs we saw were just looking around, smelling things and then they just sat down. the girl said if all the animals escaped, the most dangerous one would be the wild dogs. I thought it would be the lions or tigers. At the we all went back to school in the same cars. My favourites one was the lions, tigers and the cheetahs.

The End
