Sister Aroha

 Kia Ora!

Today for Re we have been learning about sister aroha. She left new zealand and her family to be a nun. She was the first person to do sister teresas order. She travelled to sri lanka to help the poor and give love to the kids who have been abandoned from their parents. She is a very kind nun who helped the poor by giving them all food. Before she was sister aroha she was philomene hogan. The similiaraties between sister aroha and mary is they are both kind, brave, loving, honest and trusting. what i learnt from sister arohas life is that always help anyone especially what those people have to go through.

    Hi Devontae,
    Thanks for sharing about Sr Aroha. She is a really inspirational person, especially giving up her life in NZ to go and work with the orphans and become poor herself. I really enjoyed watching the video about her. You have described the similarities between Sr Aroha and Mary very well. Great job.
